Trafalgar Law

First One Piece fanart in a few months... Almost a year maybe... I recently kept up with the newest chapters of One Piece.. Trafalgar Law looks really cool in the New World.. I can't wait for chapter 702 because it wasn't released last week.. And the mystery of how Law's hair looks like is revealed.. Almost everyone thought his hair would be really short, when actually it's kinda like Luffy's, not so short and a little messy. I find drawing his hat difficult, it would just end up with Law having an ubnormally huge head, so I took off his cap. I like drawing hair..

Anyway I just realized how slow I work recently... I used to get 1 thing done within a week or less... But now it takes 2 weeks or more... Laziness keeps growing, huh?.... I used a lot of ink to color this because I don't know why I want to re-layer the colors so much and i end up making the paper wet and on some parts it starts peeling off.. and there's just no perfect shade of gray between black and dark warm gray... I spent days thinking about the background and finally decided to draw that device that measures someone's heartbeats in the hospital... those boxes really helped me to make it unstreaky. I also tried to use more colors for the shading.. and to make things different.. I used more layers to color this and that... But i don't think I've improved much since last year... I hope to improve more in this year

Drawing Law with insomnia was my friend's idea.. He was creative and clever enough to come up with such good idea of Law having dark shades under his eyes because of insomnia.. And when draiwng multiple chibis in one paper, there's noo way I can get their heads at the same size T_T.
